Miranda is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, receiving her M.Ed. In Counseling from Cleveland State University in 2017. Miranda has a strong commitment to multicultural competency and racial justice, recognizing her lived experience is but one perspective. She is LGBTQ+ allied. Her clinical specialty areas are Adult ADHD/Complex ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD and complex trauma, dual diagnosis, Borderline Personality Disorder, abandonment and family of origin concerns, self-efficacy and empowerment, and situational stress concerns. Miranda works primarily from a person centered, neurobiologically based perspective, utilizing techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
